P.S. Would you rather live in the country or the city? :)

I've noticed a pattern in the last few years: No matter how hard I try, I can't trick my circadian rhythm into becoming a morning person. It used to be pretty easy to get up early, but now, I can sometimes be found sitting at the kitchen table at 10 p.m. and getting some of my best work done.
Whew! This week is just running me ragged, friends. I'm trying to get two newsletters done that are due at the end of the week, so I sort of feel like I'm being pulled in a thousand different directions this afternoon. Talk about crunch time!
Well, friends, today is the big day. I spent part of my morning in the doctor's office waiting to get my plugged ears drained of all that pesky wax -- doesn't that sound glamorous? Haha, it wasn't really all that glamorous, but you'd be surprised of the HUGE sweet relief that comes with clear ears. It was --wait for it -- music to my ears.
Alright, friends, this might just be the be-all and end-all question in the entire universe: Dogs vs. cats. Which one would you rather have as a pet? You can probably guess which one I'd pick... xoxo
Here's an interesting wedding tidbit for your Thursday: Apparently, throwing the bouquet isn't as popular as it once was. Some think it's a silly, superstitious tradition that is just awkward -- and potentially dangerous for those overzealous single ladies.
Lightning-round question for you, friends: When it comes to dating, would you go for the bad boy or nice guy?
A couple years ago, we talked about being old-fashion in love, and you can probably guess where I stood on the issue. But the funny thing? True, I still may have some old-fashioned notions when it comes to marriage and that little thing called virginity, yet these days, I feel like I'm looking at love through a more modern lens. Being modern -- at least to me -- means holding tight to who you are and not apologizing for your choices or your life.
If you had asked me this question 10 years ago, I would have matter-of-factly said, "I love to travel during the holidays, of course!" After all, I treasured our vacations south of the Mason-Dixon Line, and couldn't think of a better place to spend my Christmases -- and summers! But, we've spent the last few years close to home, and it was surprisingly enjoyable. We enjoyed quality time with each other, and I like to think that I'll look back on these memories in 10 years like I look back at my childhood travels now.
